Ruby red color, very dark, almost brown. Lots of light tan head, lots of lacing. Lots of piney hops int he aroma with caramelly malts. Well balanced & failry standard for a winter seasonal. When I'm a brewer I'm going to make an imperial spice/herb/vegetable winter beer that has pumpkin, cranberry, spruce tips, cloves AND ginger in it. This finishes with a good body too but seems too heavily spiced (mine won't be though).
