3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Opaque brown-black, long lasting head, bands of lace. Taste is clean roasted malt with a hint of coffee/chocolate. Bittering shows early in the palate, which distracts from the normal porter expectation. Drinkable, but not equal to many porters already more familiar to regular drinkers.

Hint of licorice. Little off-white, sort of tan head. Nice thicker ropes and splotches of lace. Medium body. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation. Lightly sticky in the finish. Very solid robust porter.
