tap at the brewpub last fall - Pours near black with a tan head. It has a pleasant roast malt and chocolate aroma. The flavor is of sweet chocolate and dark roast malt. It’s medium bodied and the chocolate character comes through quite well. Good!

Dark pour with a than head. Aroma of dark chocolate and roasted malts. The aroma continues to the flavor with just a bit more roasted character.

Draft sample. Poured a black color with an average fizzy light brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted malt and chocolate aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium toasted chocolate sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft complex brew.
