3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sample at the brewpub. Clear pale golden color with a medium thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Citrus, hops and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, lemon and sweet malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short herbal hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Taster on tap at the brewery. Labeled 5.5%, 18 IBU. Half hazy golden color. Thin off-white head, leaving awesome thicker lace. Good big bready malt aroma, light grassiness to it. Very tasty flavor profile. Moderate bitter taste, light zest, kight sweet. Smooth, crisp, lighter carbonation. Lightly dry finish, medium body. Drinkable and refreshing. Awesome blond ale.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
One of the lighter beers offered from Black Acre. The beer complimented the food nicely, however, it was a weak standout compared to the others in the flight.
