Grovlam (4157) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 20, 2007
Bottle. [Another great tasting session @ Papsoe] Average beige creamy head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Dark mahogany color. Aroma of toasted malt, light buttery notes, hint of sweet chocolate. Over the palate was burned malt, chocolate, sweet coffee, and nuts. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated sweeten flavor with light bitter notes. Sweet coffee like finish. 7 / 3 / 7 / 3 / 14

Metallic, grainy, dusty and roasted taste.
Medium to big mouthfeel, medium co2.
Medium high bitterness. Roasted aftertaste.

ekstedt (5626) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 15, 2007
UPDATED: OCT 17, 2007 Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget, says 7.0 % abv on the label. Deep clear reddish brown with a rich fluffy beige head. Very intriguing roasted aroma with notes of liquorice, gunpowder, dried fruits, and coffee. Medium bodied and smooth, perfectly balanced with a light initial sweetness followed by a firm roasted bitterness. Infinitely better than the 9.4 % abv version.

TMANAZ (8) - Arizona, USA - OCT 8, 2007 does not count
A fine Poland Porter, a Distinct coffee aroma was the first sense I noticed with a slight licorice flavor. Not one of my favorite Porters but I would definately buy again. Priced right for Domestic (U.S.) Porter lovers.
