UPDATED: NOV 22, 2012 Bottle @ Torben Mathews smagning 2012-11-21. Pours reddish black with white head. Aroma is iron, coffee, roasted malt, old red port wine. Taste is very sweet and light bitter. Body is velvety with soft carbonation. Finish is coffee, chocolate, caramel and hints of coriander.

Pours hazy deep dark red color with a small head. Aroma of dark berries, yeast, malts, some ripe fruits and spice notes. Flavour of malts, ripe fruits, dark berries and some yeast. Decent body, a bit too fruity though.

Aroma: coffee, chocolate, little fruity & toast; Appearance: black, just a little translucent, clear, quickly falling brown(ish) head; Taste: medium sweetness, light-medium bitterness, (coffee in overall with dark chocolate hints); Palate: medium body, creamy, creamy, soft carbonation, slightly bitter, coffee(ish) finish; Overall: not my favorite type but nevertheless, quite good, you can feel the quality

Sampled bottle at GBF 2012. Very dark brown, beige head. Aroma: roasted, licorice, fruity. Taste: roasted, chocolate, licorice, candy, quite sweet. Medium-bodied. Definitely OK, but nothing special.

Bottle @ Rozmanitost, Prague. Pours dark unclear amber with a small white head. Fruit, roast, chocolate powder and a bit of sugar. Flavor is coffee bean, roast and dark sugar. Medium bodied. Dry.

500. Pours jet black with a loose off-white head. Big rich and roasty nose, full of overripe plums and a general air of fruit past its prime. Creamy medium body with light carb. Semi sweet chocolate, chalk, and tons of overripe plums on the mid palate. Phenolic and unpleasant.
