if you are in a mood for just some porter, it would fit. as well as any other average porter ;) medium sweet, almost no palate, very short aftertaste with no distinctive notes. I like faint bitterness of it though.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2014 Bottle. 8.5%. Best before 04.14. As ’Lubuskie Porter’. Pours a clear, dark burgundy/brown with a diminishing light tan head. Bit of lacing. Sweetish and a bit tart, roasted aroma. Spicy note, bordering liquorice, as it warms – almost anise, but not quite. Further warming brings out a malt note. Sweetish, roasted and a bit smoked flavour. Metallic note and light cardboard overtone as it warms. Liquorice finish, a bit dry. Lingering grassy note. Overall okay, although a wee bit cloying in the long run. 18.03.14.

Bottle. Aged for over 12 months, but it did not help for this porter. Aroma is very low, looks good, but head is minimal. Taste: mainly alcoholic notes with traces of bitterness.

Small, quickly dissapearing head. Medium bodied, medium sweetness. Hoppy. Low carbonation, sour finish. Alcohol well hidden. Not bad at all.

Perceptible diacetyl and - but not strongly - alcohol what is actually normal with this ABV. But even with the defect (diacetyl) it is quite tasty.

Pours dark ruby with decent beige head. As for me, aroma is weak with roasted malt and chocolate. Sweet strong taste, similar to Zywiec Porter. Medium carbonation, full body. Short aftertaste.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2014 Aromat karmelowy, lekka kawa, leciutki diacetyl. Piana średnio pęcherzykowa i szybko opada na rzecz kilku milimetrowej, która zostaje do końca i coś tam szkło oblepia. Ciemno brunatne, przejrzyste.Trochę karmelowe, diacetyl, lekko kwaśne.

19.1, 0,5, butelka, lezakowane 4 miesiace. Kruczoczarny kolor. Smak: bardzo silna, czarna kawa. Piwo rozlewa sie po jamie ustej alkoholowa cieploscia. Ciekawe jest to, ze poszczegolne lyki moga sie roznic; raz atakuje nas kwaskowosc silnej, czarnej rury, drugi raz to gorzkie nuty slodow karmelowych dochodza do glosu. W ustach utrzymuje sie posmak czarnej kawy. Sciska przelyk, mimo 8,5% mocne, pelne. Brak sliwki i wisni, przyjemny, acz alkoholowy posmak. Ogolne wrazenie: przyzwoity porter, troche ponad przecietna (wersja lezakowana oczywiscie).

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2014 Tap at House of Beer, Cracow. Aroma - roasted malts with chocolate. Not much coffee, not too strong. Wet cardboard came out after it warmed up. Creamy beige, foamy head, none to low lacing, short lasting. Not really opaque, black with ruby reflexes. Sweet, sugary taste, full, pretty rich body, chocolate and caramel. Roasty finish, overall experience is rather pleasant, but not impressive; there are better BPs in Poland ;) edit: Oh, well, had to re-rate this. Alcohol notes are nicely hidden, which is good! Re-rated again, 2/3/2014 Strong oxidation, wet cardboard, better appearance - long lasting creamy foam with great lacing.
