UPDATED: FEB 3, 2014 Tap at House of Beer, Cracow. Aroma - roasted malts with chocolate. Not much coffee, not too strong. Wet cardboard came out after it warmed up. Creamy beige, foamy head, none to low lacing, short lasting. Not really opaque, black with ruby reflexes. Sweet, sugary taste, full, pretty rich body, chocolate and caramel. Roasty finish, overall experience is rather pleasant, but not impressive; there are better BPs in Poland ;) edit: Oh, well, had to re-rate this. Alcohol notes are nicely hidden, which is good! Re-rated again, 2/3/2014 Strong oxidation, wet cardboard, better appearance - long lasting creamy foam with great lacing.

Bottle. Deep black colour, small but creamy beige head. Aroma of roasetd malts, caramel and coffee. Full bodied, very smooth and velvety, full of intensive flavours of caramel, coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, raisins and prunes.

500ml bottle as "Witnicki Porter 18,1%". Dark brown chestnut color. Medium size yellowish-brownish head, stays. Roasted malts, coffee, dusty cocoa powder in aroma. Sweet, mild roast, milky, coffee, slight graininess in flavor. Nice sweet roast in aftertaste. Nice one.

Recenzja 21 lipca 2011 jako Witnicki Porter i 20 września 2011 jako Black Boss. Czarny, świetny kolor i mała, szybko opadająca piana.

Decent beige head and ruby color, not pitch black. Roasted malt aroma, but not intensive, pretty mild. The best thing about it is that you can’t feel the booze. It’s great for a porter! Typically Polish porters reek of spirits. Very creamy texture, sweet in taste. A lot of ash notes here. Not much on the palate.

(bottle) pours a clear deep ruby colour with a frothy beige head. aroma of dark chocolate, heavy roasted malts and coffee, slightly acrid, with a hint of herbal hops and brown sugar. flavour is mostly the same, lots of coffee and roasted malts, though slightly meaty, with a hint of butter, a light sweetness and some alcohol in the herbal-hoppy bitter finish. heavy-bodied with average carbonation.

Ahh... lager. Ale can go fcuk itself. Pours a thick and cummy brown/black with a thin cap of tan head. Aromas of molasses, nesquick and ashtrays. Taste is a pretty refined blend of molasses, dark fruit and cigarettes. Pretty fucking good and very chuggable. Love it.

Bardziej wodnisty i nie tak wytrawny jak większość porterów. Pije się go jednak dosyć przyjemnie.
