Nothing outstanding. To me just a regular porter. Nothing distinguishes it from the lot.

Hardly any aroma; malts and caramel, but very faint. Pours black with a consistently large, relatively stable head. The taste is bitter, pleasantly countered by a mild sweetness; the alcohol seemed much too pronounced at first but somehow this stopped bothering me after a sip or two. Body above medium, a bit creamy, carbonation average, bitter and slightly sweet finish. Not a love at first sip, certainly, but once I got used to it, it’s actually really quite nice; a shame the aroma is so faint.

Dark brown colour. Frothy and medium lasting, beige head. Aroma of chocolate and coffee. Taste is the same as aroma - chocolate and coffee. In my opinion too sweet.

Great aroma of caramel and dark bread. It’s completely dark, almost non-transparent. The head looks good but droop fast. In taste you can find mostly roasty marks and long dark coffee. In the end unfortunately there is some unpleasant taste of soy sauce or dirty glass bottle. It’s very full, very filling. It’s gassed very frugally but this amount of CO2 is just enough.

Bottle, 0.33l, courtesy of ElDesmadre. Cloudy dark brown color with thick creamy light brown head, good lacing and body particles floating. Aroma of roasted malt, nuts, coffee, dark chocolate and mild alcohol note. Taste starts with sweet chocolate and coffee, follows moderate alcoholic with warming spicy mouthfeel and mild bitter finish. Full body, thick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Delicious dessert...
