D (502), Kraków, Poland Aug 30, 2006 At first I thought that what I was drinking was the celebrated Black Boss porter. However, it turned out to be a domestic version of this export beer, with slightly lower ABV and different packaging. Dark colour, creamy lasting head. Smooth taste, roasted caramel taste with some slight fruity notes. Very strong coffee flavour. Little bitterness, pleasant end, very smooth and creamy. Very good porter, Polish porters are always good. harrisoni (5474), Ashford, Kent, England Apr 13, 2007 Updated: Aug 2, 2007500ml bottle at London Drinker BF 07. Very dark ruby colour with bubbly dark beige head. Slightly buttery porter. Butter and some toasty aroma. Slightly sweet, slightly sticky in mouth, some charcoal towards the end. I like it. Bizarre, but flavoursome. 3.3/5.0

Carlus12 (361), London, Greater London, England May 7, 2008 Bottle @ Hoopers, London. Pours deep brown colour with red edges with tan head. Aroma is strong molasses, berries, chocolate, roast malts and nuts. Taste is coffee, chocolate, malts, slightly smoked. A very nice porter. pbrick (10), Roseville, California, USA Apr 18, 2007 Great with ice cream, this beer shows off a wonderful lactic tartness that provides a balance to the deep roast that seems pretty tame to begin with. The alcohol is subdued, the body is full - I really enjoy this beer.
