This is a nice, tradition baltic porter. Very dark, very sweet and licoricey. Lots of chocolate finish.

Pours dark brown, almost black. Thick, foamy, tan head that stays forever. Copious lacing. Nose is dark chocolate malt.Taste is nicely bitter chocolaty roast with rich, voluptuous sweetness underneath. Full body, lively carbonation, cocoa finish. This bottle must have aged nicely in transport. Delicious!

Bottle. Compliments of brother law beer of month club. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, molasses, biscuit. Taste has some sweet cocoa and molasses in it. Has some sweetness and bitter in it. A bit of warming alcohol. A unique, pretty good porter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Strong European malt flavor..Quite pronounced. Alc presence is medium strong. Medium dark malt flavor. Full body throughout. Grainy European malt flavor stands out.

This 9.4% hides its alcohol well. Nice blend of chocolate raisins and coffee in the flavor. The finish is surprisingly mild and sweet. Seems to be missing that ’something’ in the finish. The sweetness lingers with some vanilla as I drink it more.
