Roasty, caramelly, aroma. Pours dark brown with an amber tint, and a thick tan head. Moderately sweet with a roasty bitterness. A little caramel taste with a slightly sharp acidic finish. Full body. Good beer

Bottle @ Bestway. Pour: Rich brown, tawny appearance. Opaque beauty with thin collar of foam. Aroma: Leathery, cocoa, almost a cigar/tobacco-like aroma. Notes of dark fruit also. Taste: A big porter! Immediate warming from the alcohol. Roasted malt forward brew with a hint of molasses and coffee flavors. Definitely a sipper. A muscular brew. Aggressive mouthfeel. Overall: A freak of a porter, IMHO. Very enjoyable but volatile and potent. After tasting, rating, and finishing this particular bottle, my wife noted that i "smelled like a campfire". Once you imbibe this baltic porter, it literally seeps out of your pores.

Strong coffee and maple syrup. Clear garnet black, medium yellow head. Flavor of strong coffee, a bit on the sweet side. Cherries are present as well. There is an unpleasant cane sugar sweetness on the back end.

A very smooth porter. I enjoyed it very much. The taste isnít overwhelming, and it has a hint of molasses. Very sweet, highly recommended.

Hints of sweetness to this one with a tad bit of roasted flavors. Itís super dark with very little head. Iíd raise another glass of this one to Poland...

Yup...its a Baltic porter. Looking at me from the glass with its minimal head, the light umber glow at the edges of the dark fluid...beckon. Nose of black patent malt which transitions to first taste along with a cartload of mixed choco-malts. big bold and sweet. Alcohol ridden. I needed a buffer of some sourdough pretzels to balance all this out. Even so, the finish stops abruptly and the body just keeps on coming down the grade into the sharply banked turns, rolls over the finish for a spectacular train wreck.

Burnt, coffee, and molasses notes, the 9.4% alcohol leaves a bit of a tingly feeling afterwards. This beer tastes great, but as others have mentioned, it does have a very thin, watery mouthfeel that you donít expect from a porter. Best beer Iíve had from Poland by far though.
