Love this f***ing beer. One of my favorites. -Pours a dark black, rose and burgundy in the light, tan to white creamy head dissipates quickly and leaves a bit of lacing. Aromas of raisin, date, paperclips, farmhouse, light chocolate. Licorice, grain, peanut, pistachio shell, metal, vine, and sexy sex on the tongue. Slightly watery mouthfeel, medium body, tingly in the cheeks, bold but subtle palette. Finish is half dry half wet, long remnant of nut and earthy grain, little beef. Rather warming, a solid porter. This is what I want when I want a porter.

Bottle. Pours almost black in color with small white head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, licorice, butterscotch (probably famous diacetyl from Witnica ;) ). In taste medium sweet, full bodied with roasty and chocolate ntes finished with a hint of alcohol. Medium bitter finish. Decent porter.

A good, malty porter. Pours a deep red-black with a tan head. Smells malty, with some plum, marshmallow. Taste is quite malty, vanilla and plum, raisin. Sweet finish. Had in the bottle.

Bottle share at Evernote in Redwood City, CA. A chewy blend of beefy teriyaki jerky and licorice tape. Must try!

Bottle. Heavy molasses and roasted for the malt, light perfume for the hops, dough for the yeast, with hints of brown sugar and cola. Head is small and quickly diminishes to nothing. Color is clear dark brown. Flavor starts moderately sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Palate is medium, syrupy, with a lively carbonation. An okay Porter, a little out of balance in flavor but it does have a nice smokiness to it.

Dark with a tannish head. Smooth, roasty malt with some coffee and toast. Smooth, full, earthy with a long finish. Not bad at all.

Bottle @ European Taste. Dark brown with tan had that dissipated and light lacing. Smells sweet and chocolatey with some liqeuer, molasses, and coffee. And a little damp earthy and vegetal. Sweet but not cloying. Fairly dry/clean finish.
