Bottle. Dark brown with a light brown, creamy head that reduced to a minimum. Sweet, port-like aroma. Roasted flavours, but sweet molasses very much in the lead. One-dimensionally sweet, unfortunately.

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2008 Aromas of banana, yeasty bread, and definite alcohol. Taste is nutty like a brown. A sweet prune flavor and a mealy malt finish. Definitely dosn’t taste like it has 9.4%

Pours a dark brown that allows ruby highlights and produces a one finger light tan head. Nose is....strange, very rich in its elements. Molasses, old ass coffee, prune some caramel. Flavor is no good, paper, sweet, some roast. Bad. Old bottle?

500 ml. bottle. Pours almost black with a decent tan head. Aroma of coffee, dark fruit, and chocolate. Taste is roasted malt, dark fruit, chocolate, and some alcohol. Decent.

Black boss porter pours a rich mahogany brown with a nice thick head of tan bubbles. Nose is sweet alcohol with hints of yeast, grass and hay. taste is rather one note sweet on the foretaste. on the finish it is caramel corn, nuts and wheat toast. Body is just a touch lively. Alcohol is pretty obvious, but the finish is really intriguing.

A little n the sweet and boozy side for me. Caremelized malt is thick with a little roast. Finishes with some burnt taste and sweetness. Malt heavy, very light hops. Pours dark mahogany with good head and lacing. Consistency a little syrupy. Botte.

Bottle. Heavy molasses and roasted for the malt, light perfume for the hops, dough for the yeast, with hints of brown sugar and cola. Head is small and quickly diminishes to nothing. Color is clear dark brown. Flavor starts moderately sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Palate is medium, syrupy, with a lively carbonation. An okay Porter, a little out of balance in flavor but it does have a nice smokiness to it.

Bottle. Pours almost black in color with small white head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, licorice, butterscotch (probably famous diacetyl from Witnica ;) ). In taste medium sweet, full bodied with roasty and chocolate ntes finished with a hint of alcohol. Medium bitter finish. Decent porter.

bottle-pours a deep red huge with a small fizzy tan head. ozidized aroma with notes of chocolate, sour milk, wet forest and rasin. very burnt flavors to start with a chocolatey finish. 9.4%? are you kidding? This tastes around 5 at the most. alcohol is nowhere to be found for this percentage. this beer suffers from a thin body and too much residual sweetness. not one of the better baltics out there.

Nothing astonishing here. At %9.4 it gets the job done and is affordable, but, despite being fairly rich, doesnt have much character.
