Cask conditioned at The Old Bulls Head, Lower Gornal, W.Midlands. Amber/Brown with light head. Interesting mix of citric tartness with a floral hop, strongish flavours drown out the essence of a session beer. A bit too challenging to the pallate.

Cask, Cow & Plough, Stoughton. Amber gold with a white foam. Aromas are caramel and oranges with floral notes. Strawberry cream sweets with some citrus. Flavours are sweet caramel and cream with mellow oranges. Fruity and dry on the finish. An OK brew.

Cask at The Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield, ’The Peoples Republic of South Yorkshire’ on the Valley of Beer Day 16-08-08 Pours light amber, unimpressive and slightly sour fruity beer. This was one of the few beers of the day that wasn’t great, maybe a little tired as taken off soon after and replaced with the BB Golden Flame.

Blackfriers. Arojma has pale biscuity and perfumy hops, with caramel kickin in quite a bit. Taste is similar, pop corn butteryness with hints of spice and peppery hop. Drinkable enough just get rid of the bloody caramel.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Wellington Birmingham. A copper coloured beer which leaves a little scummy lacing. The aroma has some citrus hoppy notes. The taste has good bitterness with oranges and lemons. There is a little late malty sweetness with some berry flavours. Tasty.

Cask handpump at The Wellington, Birmingham. Amber with no head. Floral scent, aromas of tangerines making it quite sweet. Slightly thin. Disappointing for a normally good brewery.
