1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Opaque&amber in colour. It does not have a head. It has a weak caramel aroma. It’s bitter and hoppy. Lightly carbonated. I’m not a big fan of this amber ale.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
471ml from LCBO: dirty orange beer with no head. Notes of malt, grass, fruit in the nose. Tastes like caramel and bread and then backed up by a dryness from the grassy hops. Wet thin mouthfeel. Not very courageous.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle - 500ml. Hazy caramel body with no head at all and an average carbonation. Thin malty/hoppy aroma with flowery and butterscotch hints. Its decent hoppy taste carries grainy and woody notes. Ends with a good bitter finish. Drinkable.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear brew with a fast head, no lace and copper colour. Aroma of cereal, some fresh ground pepper, ketchup chips, roast, some cat food and a fruity quality. Medium bodied brew with a fast finish and a water profile. almost no flavour to speak of besides the slight bitterness on the finish. Terrible.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle, LCBO. I have been pleasantly surprised by the beers in this series so far, let’s see how this one goes. Still dark orange with little head. Aroma of stale malt, tea, toast, and some earthy hops. Taste - earthy hops, bread, wood, some fruit. Body is thin and watery. Only historic in that in tastes like every Ontario attempt at an IPA 10 years ago. Poor, especially when compared to others in this series.
