timfoolery (379), California, USA Jan 15, 2008 On tap. This brew began tasting like a Hefe, evened as a malt ale, and finished like a lager. Overall, it reminded me of a Belgian Cru more than anything. A very good, drinkable ale. DTM (404), Winters, California, USA Jan 15, 2008 On tap at the Buckhorn in Winters, CA. Poured an amber color with an off white head. Malts domnated the taste. Just the right amount of sweetness. Went down smooth and left quite a bit of lacing on the glass. Great beer. bb (2235), Martinez, California, USA Dec 11, 2004 Draft. Rich amber-mahogony beer with no head. Some malt aroma, but nothing too strong. Honey flavor with some malt and spice. Easy to drink with a lingering sweetness and some low perception of hops.
