COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our newest offering Fracas Imperial Red is a deep crimson, bordering on brick red. The nose is big grapefruit, with subtle hints of pine, watermelon and honeydew. The hops are just bitter enough to stand up to the sweet malt and caramelized sugar flavor of the malts. The roast barley gives it depth of color without being overly astrigent or burnt/acrid. The hops in the finish are ever present and the flavor mimics the nose of the beer. Fracas has a slighlty chewy mouthfeel and finishes with a nice caramel sweetness yet without flabbiness in the body.

Part of the sampler at the tap room in Concord CA. Aroma of caramel and spice. Love the malt backbone on this one. One of my favorites of the day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Rossa scura, bella schiuma cremosa chiara. Odore fruttato, vinoso, leggero resinoso. Sapore di malti caramellati intenso, finale amaro che smorza i sapori maltati, leggere astringenza, non troppo equilibrata.

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Deep red amber. Nose is weird burned herbs mixed with hops, pine, burned sugar. Taste is herbal burned sugar, sweet malts, herbal, hay, burned malts,… Burned herbal tastes. Largely just sweetish burned herbs. Not really for me.

Big, bold, hoppy Red ale! The aroma on this beer is outstanding with lots of citrus and malt goodness. The type of beer I always want around in my fridge.

0.65 bottle from Pivoteka, Zagreb. Dark copper, clear with small off white head. Dry figs and raisins, some herbal hops. Very fruity character. Hoppy start, but very spicy fruity character develops, sweet cake like finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. A classic example of style.
