COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional Bavarian unfiltered refreshing wheat beer. A unique German yeast strain which imparts the fruit and spicy, clove-like character.

This is a pretty good hefe. Not funky like American hefes. Easy drinking. Not real noticable, but good.

Hazy bright yellow with afizzy white head. Grainy citrus and mild skunk aroma. Big citrus taste with a bready finish.

Bubble gum sent.?. Spicy citrus taste then it all goes bad. Lager flavors and metal thinness obliterate any decent taste that might have existed. Too top it off it ends on bad bitterness. All around disappointing.

At NorCal Brewers Guild Festival at Raley Field. Banana aroma. Hazy gold color with great white head. Starts with banana, followed by light clove spice. There’s a lot going on in this one. Clean fruity finish. Delicious.

draft. Pours witha yellow color and quite hazy, seems unfiltered to me. Aromas are dominated by fruit, inparticualr lemons, fruit and yeast. Flavors of banana, lemon, cloves, yeast and various sother spices. Quite complex and a very good example of a good Hefeweizen. I did really enjoy this one.

Draft. Pale yellow and clear. The description says unfiltered but the one I had was obviously filtered- I hope I have the right beer here! Aroma was clove and banana with a bit of citris. No hop charactor at all. Slightly malty with the banana very outstanding in the flavor. Not really my cup of tea but a pretty good example of the style (less the filtering).

Draft. Golden and cloudy. It lokos the part of a Hefe and there is some spice and clove, but way too much lemon here. The flavor has lemon and wheat malt and then the Bavarian characteristics. Misses the target.
