Oscbert (296), Sacramento, California, USA May 18, 2008 Sampled at West Coast Brew Fest ’08
~Pours a light golden colour
~Light floral hop scent.
~Mild sweet hop taste. Very pleasant.
~this was an enjoyable IPA. One I wouldn’t mind having again. BeerMe2 (1), Concord, California, USA does not count Dec 26, 2007 Draft, This IPA is very different, not your everyday California IPA. This one actually has some malt flavor. A very English IPA. Great w/a burger. I hear bottle are coming soon! DYCSoccer17 (2049), Davis, California, USA Aug 19, 2007 12 ounce sample at the Squaw Valley Brews, Blues, and Funk Festival. Grainy and lightly funked out aroma. Almost smells like there is a little sour Brett going on. I also get a dash of lemony citrus aromas. Moderately hazy orange-honey colored body with a small light yellow head. Sweet, fruity, citrus weird apricot/orange/pear-like flavors to start. Lightly grainy malty middle. Becomes a bit sour and astringent later on. This is way off. Definitely not reminscent of an IPA. bhensonb (3131), Woodland, California, USA May 12, 2007 At NorCal Brewers Guild Festival at Raley Field. Light floral aroma. Clear coppery amber color with a white head (no lacing). Thinnish mouthfeel. Malt is balanced by floral hop. It’s not all that bitter. A bit English. Maybe a lot English. Nice finish flavor. tomciccateri (466), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA Jan 8, 2007 On draught at HopYard. Poured a dense dark gold color with a slight head. Medium-bodied with a big hoppy flavor and medium bitterness. A full mouthfeel. Slight citrus character matched to an underlying pale malt flavor. The hops were more noticable than the malt or alcohol. Maybe a "pale" IPA.
