3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Having recently had their amber ale, which was a bit of a fizzy mess, I was a little leery about this one. Thankfully, much better! Pours a nice deep orange amber, lacy white head. Low tropical fruit and caramel aroma. Flavours of caramel malt, with nice tropical fruit and mild pine hop character. Moderately bitter. A decent IPA, but pretty low intensity.

This beer is pretty good. It reminds me of a Firestone Walker beer. Has a pleasing Belgium twist to it.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle acquired from Hophead22 (thanks for being my west coast hop hookup!). Poured a medium and slightly hazy golden color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of floral hops, citrus, and some earthiness. Tastes of citrus and grainy. Thinner tastes with a thinner body.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle. Rating #21. Kind of a darkish straw yellow with a little orange thrown in there, the head was white and kind of thin with moderate lacing. Grainy aroma with a light hop undertone a little citrus but not much else. Bitter up front, sticks around for awhile as well, not a whole lot else going on. Not the best, but it was ok. (1168)

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
This brew pours a clear amber-orange color with a very thick off-white head that recedes steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grapefruit and perfumy hops. Medium body with a citrusy hops flavor and mild malt undertones. The finish is hoppy with a lingering bitter aftertaste. Decent IPA overall.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
kind of tricky to rate this one. doesnít look like much, small head. flavor is toasty, nice malt backing with a bitter floral hop aftertaste that lingers for a long time. very grassy flavor in the mouth, which i kind of like but i donít blame you if you donít. the long hoppy finish is the best part of this beer. the flavor isnít bad, maybe a little one dimensional but the bitterness is assertive. when it warms up the malts open up and give it more character and redeems itself. before warming itís VERY thin in the mouth with a long bitter finish that comes out of nowhere. after it warms up it comes together quite a bit more. not a knockout, but decent and solid enough for me.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a rich orange with a large foamy head that thins out slowly. Aroma has modest fruity hops and a little alcohol. Flavor is floral, hoppy, pretty simple and straightforward. Average mouthfeel, medium density. Overall, good.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
~Aroma of citrus hops, a mixture of orange and grapefruit, clean malty sweetness, tart, similar to a red sweet tart.
~Giant, foamy, rocky white head. Pours 75% foam. Head takes awhile to die down and last at about a 1/2 inch. Cloudy orangish copper color.
~ Citrusy resinous hop flavor. Medium malt backbone that supports hop bitterness.
~Medium bodied with hop derived astringency, medium high carbonation, slight warming, sticky, yet dry. Has a slightly harsh bitter finish.
~The head is too huge! Makes it hard to try and drink it. Overall I did enjoy it.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is a new local beer, so I feel obligated to try it. Pours cloudy amber with a head that looks a bit too fizzy to be real. Not much aroma. I feel that an IPA should grab you by the nose as soon as you open the bottle. Here we have some faint hop smell and a touch of honey sweetness. Flavor is also rather one note. Just grassy hops. Astringent finish. Another boring IPA.
