Our take on a "west coast style" IPA, Jagged Edge is big and hoppy, yet it’s also extremely well balanced, and surprisingly easy to reach for another. We "first wort hop" with Columbus, and use Simcoe for flavor additions. The finishing hop additions include Columbus, Centennial, and Simcoe. Columbus is pungent with sweet orange aromas and flavor. Centennial adds floral notes along with additional citrus. Simcoe add a nice pine like flavor and aroma. These hops were chosen for their flavors and their moderate cohumulone content, which means they are bitter but not overwhelmingly bitter in large quantities. Pale malts are complemented by caramalt and light munich malts, which both enhance the malty sweetness and color and work to balance the substantial hop bill.

"this traditional ipa has about half of a full hop flavor. unispired and uninspiring, not even that good in the heat of summer, and this may be their best beer that I’ve had."

Decent bee, just doesn’t rise above. Citrus hop aroma. Caramel color with a fizzy head. Medium palate with a hop-forward flavor with a balanced malt but not exceptional. Easy to drink with beef.

65 cl bottle, 7.3%. Orange color, hazed, with a thick offwhite head. Classic IPA on the nose. Aroma of grapefruit and orange with a powerful amount of hops, resins, brown sugar, apricot, doughy malts. Body is medium, somewhat dusty. Intense bitter finish with a trail of burnt dark chocolate.

Draft. Cloudy dark amber. Good sized Frothy tan head which lasted. Thick lace. Bigger medium almost full body. Pretty good balance. Melon. Pineapple. Citrus. Caramel. Pretty big beer. Moderate but firm bitterness. Drinks like a double IPA.

Pours a fluffy two fingers of head on a cloudy dark straw colored body. The aroma has lots of danky lemon, barnish smell, but nice. The taste has bold lemon bitterness but lots of malt to hold it up. I like it. The texture is thicker with moderate carbonation. Enjoy it.

bottle at thirsty beer shop in singapore. pretty typical stuff - aroma of pine and caramel; slightly sudsy body with solid citric flavours, predominantly grapefruit, and a toffee malt character with a good hit of bitterness

"Pours a light amber with an orange tint to it. Slightly cloudy and a fluffy medium sized head which recedes after a couple of minutes. Tons of sticky lacing. The aroma has some faint citrus hops are subtle compared to the strong grainy malt aroma. Getting some yeast scents as well. The taste initially is subtle grapefruit hop flavor is overtaken by biting malt. A bit of earthiness to the lingering hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium with above average carbonation.
