Pretty solid IPA. Good malt, interesting hop flavor, nothing really transcendent but a good beer.

Bomber pour..2.69 close out bin at stateline...not going in with high expectations on this and to tell you the truth this was an enjoyable double..quite easy to drink with almost no reference pt to the high abv..pretty well done with biscuit malt winning out..could easily polish off a few of these in one setting..

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Beautiful DIPA. Spirited copper pour with strong grapefruit aroma. One of the more pine-tasting IPAs I've had, which is fantastic. Resin flavor under that, on a solid malt backbone. Requisite bitterness but not overpowering. A bit of lingering sweetness surprisingly. Another spectacular DIPA from a brewery I've never tried before!

Pours a two-finger cream head that fades slowly leaving some lace. Clear amber color. Medium-strong carbonation and medium bodied. Nose is grapefruit hops, flavor is grapefruit hops and hints of caramel. Lingering bitter finish. $8.75 for a 22oz bottle from Bert’s Better Beers Hooksett, NH

On tap at Hot City Pizza, cloudy pour, medium head, nice flavor. Prefer some more hoppiness; but still solid.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Big bottle from BevMo, San Jose, CA. Pours hazed orange like a weizen with a generous bloom of head. Tinned peaches, grapefruit, strawberry chews and a caramel/cinder toffee sweetness on the nose. Chewy and floral with a dominant sweet peachy, caramel-draped grapefruit and rose character. Good balancing bitterness on the finish. Too malt-heavy to let the hops shine, a bit of a peach bomb and as DIPAs go not entirely to my taste but well-executed, aromatic and pretty enjoyable nonetheless.

Amber with white head. Aroma of chocolates, hops, and malts. Spicy taste and very hoppy with well balanced notes of pine, chocolates, berries, malts, and citrus. Great IPA

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
In short: A smooth fruity golden IPA that is too easy to drink for such a strong beer.
How: Bottle 22oz, consumed probably fresh a few weeks after purchase.
The look: Clear pale golden body topped by a small off-white head leaving lots of lacings on the glass.
In long: Nose has smooth fruity hops (mangos and apricots mainly), honey flowers, a slice of lemon pie. Taste is has lots of smooth honeyed oily cereals, cookies, fresh sweet apricots, mangos, some white grapefruits. A smooth sweetness and a smooth bitterness, this is an overall well balanced beer that is very easy to drink. Almost no alcohol presence at all. Smooth carbonation, slightly oily mouthfeel. I liked this one more than I thought I would. Not super tasty and far from complex, but super easy to drink for a 9.5% beer. This beer is dangerously easy to drink for a 9.5% brew, some people have a little white angel on their shoulder whose job is telling them they need to drink less, I was assigned a parole officer to do that job.

4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours murky gold with a medium off white head. Aroma is off the charts - citrus rind, grapefruit, pine, mango and maybe even guava!! Awesome!! Taste is a well balanced blend of the above fruits & a smooth DIPA malty background laced with a little black pepper bite. Truly complex & well made. There’s a clean fruity sweetness that maintains throughout the palate along with a pleasantly smooth & chalky mouthfeel. One of the BEST Imperial IPA’s I’ve had!!
