3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
In short: A smooth fruity golden IPA that is too easy to drink for such a strong beer.
How: Bottle 22oz, consumed probably fresh a few weeks after purchase.
The look: Clear pale golden body topped by a small off-white head leaving lots of lacings on the glass.
In long: Nose has smooth fruity hops (mangos and apricots mainly), honey flowers, a slice of lemon pie. Taste is has lots of smooth honeyed oily cereals, cookies, fresh sweet apricots, mangos, some white grapefruits. A smooth sweetness and a smooth bitterness, this is an overall well balanced beer that is very easy to drink. Almost no alcohol presence at all. Smooth carbonation, slightly oily mouthfeel. I liked this one more than I thought I would. Not super tasty and far from complex, but super easy to drink for a 9.5% beer. This beer is dangerously easy to drink for a 9.5% brew, some people have a little white angel on their shoulder whose job is telling them they need to drink less, I was assigned a parole officer to do that job.

Pours murky gold with a medium off white head. Aroma is off the charts - citrus rind, grapefruit, pine, mango and maybe even guava!! Awesome!! Taste is a well balanced blend of the above fruits & a smooth DIPA malty background laced with a little black pepper bite. Truly complex & well made. Thereís a clean fruity sweetness that maintains throughout the palate along with a pleasantly smooth & chalky mouthfeel. One of the BEST Imperial IPAís Iíve had!!

Two fingers of head on a hazy, medium straw colored body.
The aroma is a nice lemon and grapefruit... just enough.
The taste has a solid moderate to high lemon bitterness that is backed up nicely by the malt profile. Not a touch of sweetness gets through though.
The texture is smooth with moderate carbonation.
Wow, a solid beer.

From bottle. Hazy gold pour with a loose white bubbly head. Sugary sweet pale malt flavors with light citrusy and floral hops and a touch of booze. Super sweet so much so that it masks everything else except a decent bitterness in the back end. Next, please.

Pours a hazy golden orange from the bottle with thin white head and light lacing. Aroma is sweet citrus, hops, and slight pale malt. Taste is orange, pineapple, slight hop, crisp clean finish that is a little bitter, with a slight burn but no alcohol taste. Damn good.

Orange pour, white head. Grapefruit peel, orange zest, bitterness and sweet malt work well together.

Aroma was nice with citrus and piney notes. The color poured a nice golden color with a nice thick off white head that held throughout and left some nice lacing. Taste was medium bodied, almost sticky and tasted slightly of hop cotton candy. Citrus and pine notes on the palate with a nice caramel sweetness to balance. Finish is dry and nice hop bitterness. Overall a very solid DIPA. Never seen it my area before but will buy again
