Pours two fingers of head on a clear straw body. The aroma is lots of pine and woods. The taste is grass and pine bitterness. The texture is thicker. Fine enough.

West Coast IPA with thick, irregular, off-white, moussy head and lightly hazy, light orange blonde colour with a veil of ídustí (yeast) equally divided over the liquid as the deposit is added. Based on the name, I expected this to be a wheat IPA or something, but apparently only barley is used. Lovely citrus aroma, perfumed with suggestions of mandarin liqueur, grapefruit peel, lime zest, honeydew, fresh pineapple, papaja, caramel candy, white pepper, pine wood, biscuit, peaches (esters, almost as in a Belgian tripel, especially when the deposit is added) and gin; nothing off-putting here. Vividly fruity onset, pineapple, orange, watermelon, some banana, medium carbonation, minerals, salty accent but fortunately not too strong, light and supple mouthfeel, slightly nutty and caramelly malt sweetness cleverly balanced with a resinous, spicy, citrussy hop bitterness dominating the finish and drying the back of the mouth and throat, with some of the malts timidly creeping through. This may not be the most revolutionary IPA around, pretty straightforward, but very well balanced and tasty, exemplary for its style.

Looks like any other IPA, smells like rough IPA, a little of that BO lingering in there, and itís not in a good way. Some things floating around in thar. Taste is fer sure IPA bordering on astringent and sharp. Difficult. Even after years of trying to like IPA, I just donít get them. Strong difficult and nasty nellie, almost IIPA in effect but not quite as thick. Does have some good co2. Long bitter thrashing dull thud ipa finish that lasts for a good length of time. Not impressed.

red brown pour. slow gusher and big head. Aroma pine, juniper spruce, ozone. Tastes caramel, sorta briny/meaty, big grapefruit with a touch of tomato/oxidation. This one was the last one on the shelf and it shows. hints at a well done, but mostly generic IPA.

Bottle: The aroma consists of citrus, light peach, tropical fruits, and a hint of dank notes. It pours a slightly hazy amber with a decent amount of sediment floating around. It has a two finger with a yellow tinged off-white head that eventually fades to a thin film outlined by a soapy ring. There is a good amount of soapy webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with light-moderate tropical fruits with a hint of peach. The finish has light-moderate grapefruit a hint of dank notes. Itís light-medium bodied with light-moderate carbonation.

Bottle from Special Brews in Lynwood, WA. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is fruit and grass. Med body. It starts bitter, gets a sweet burst, then goes eaarthy bitter. Iím thinking of Cluster. Plus a lot of other hop. Hoppy, bitter and tasty. Works for me.

Draft. Poured a hazy light copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

On tap at Botella Republic in Berkeley. Pours a hazy yellow in a tulip glass, little to no head. Hay on the nose, taste has a bitter finish that lacks the hoppy character I love. Good, palatable beer, but missing the well-rounded finish that would make it really special.

4oz on tap at Brass Tap Cincinnati. Clear golden orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves good thicker lace. Good big citrusy grapefruit hop, grassiness, moderate spiciness. Pretty assertive level of hop. Moderate-plus bitterness, light to moderate sweet. Some bready maltiness. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Sort of crisp texture, more dry finish. Impressive White IPA... Big flavor for the low ABV, drinks assertive. The malty sweetness catches up with the hops towards the end of my 4oz though. Sweetness really comes out halfway through these several ounces... Flavor in the final swig is a little grassy and herbal, but mostly just caramel malt
