Brewed with lots of malt and a ridiculous amount of hops. Expect huge hop aromatics, rich malty profile and a good lick of lip-smacking hop bitterness on the finish. Perfect with bold, spicey food such as Indian curry

A big malty IPA with caramel and even a little chocolate combining with pine needles and grapefruit to produce a really smooth beer.

Surely a bit NQR? Miles off the commercial description. Old style with minerals and rust but not much by way of fresh hops and resin. Seems unduly restrained.

Poured a red amber with a foamy off white head that doesn’t hold. Very low carbonation, even for an ipa. Almost flat. Strong citrus and piney aroma, with a big malt sweetness to follow. Taste is a well balanced caramel with citrus and stonefruit. Resinous bitterness to match the oily texture. A nice drop, but was very undercarbed

Bottle from Cellar Door (October 2013). Dark copper/orange, strong white head, fruity aromas, pine, passionfruit, caramel, peaches, resinous bitterness, rich malt backbone, full body, slick, oily feel, long bitter finish. Superb!

Pours hazy copper with a large lasting head. Nose shows pine, resinous and earthy hops, sweet bready malt and alittle faint fruit. Similar hops as flavours, quite earthy, piny and spicy. Nice bready malt in the background and some peach too. Carbonation seems a little excessive. A pretty decent English IPA.
