MesandSim (4623), Highgate, Greater London, England Jul 20, 2008 A Mes rate: Gravicask at the Pembury.
Golden brown with no head. Very hoppy aroma that is clearly full of dry hopping. Really grassy and floral with a strong wheaty note. The flavour is massively soapy and it spoils the decent fruity hops that you can just about pick out. Heavy chlorine and bleach in the finish. Pretty rank. anders37 (2819), Malmö, Sweden Jul 9, 2008 Cask @ Charlies Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow color with a small white head. Fruity slightly hoppy aroma. Fruity malty flavor with some grassy hoppy hints.. Sweetish malty finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste. Ungstrup (11692), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 28, 2008 Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen as Hambleton Schooner at 4.3% ABV. A hazy golden beer with a rocky off-white head. The aroma is freshly hoppy giving it notes of grass and flowers, combined with notes of brewmash, like walking in the brewhouse right after brewing. The flavor is sweet and very fruity - with hints of diacethyl, leading to a dry bitter finish with fruity notes of peaces lingering. The body is thin. harrisoni (5474), Ashford, Kent, England Sep 3, 2007 Cask gravity at Ashford Rugby Club BF 2007. Hazy copper colour with lasting beige head. Some rubber and some red berry fruit in mouth. Yes, just not right. I do not think that it is infected, but either not quite ready yet or the malt was not fully brewed out. Magicdave6 (4092), London, Greater London, England Feb 9, 2007 Aroma gives grassy, really fruity and perfume. Taste gives pale malts, again fruity, grassy quite bitter seriously drinkable stuff, however after 2 it began to have hints of washing up liquid.
