This India Pale Ale has been crafted using Camden Haven rainwater along with quality Australian malts and hops to create a beer that will endure the hardship of the voyage from Herons Creek to you. The higher alcohol, increased hop bitterness and bottle conditioning provides a depth of flavour that will only improve with time. This will be launched at Paddys Hop Harvest Festival 21st April.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a dark, murky, almost rusty amber, 1 finger of pillowy white head. Aroma is quite yeasty and malty, with some caramel notes. Caramel driven taste followed by a very bitter, kind of sour tangy palate. Nice, thicker than usual IPA body. resinous. No tingly fruit-hop driven notes at all like a lot of other standard IPA’s. Wasnt what i was expecting, enjoyed it though. Almost reminded me of a belgian style ale due to the massive yeast content that was seen (and tasted) lining the bottom of the bottle.

Pours a nice dark orange with a slight head. Nice bitter taste without being overpowering. Quite an enjoyable and easy beer to drink.

330ml bottle from Warners at the Bay Bottle Shop. Nice strong solid bronzed amber colour with a big sand coloured foam head. Citrus hop aroma is good as is the flavour.
