wow, the amber had been my favorite here for so long but was pleasantly surprised on a trip back to see family when i stopped in. Had to take a growler to go.

The aroma is caramel, bread, cereal gerains, grass, noble hops. The appearance is a hazy amber, white head. The flavor is earthy, cereal grain, bread, caramel sweetness. Medium to medium/thick in body. the finish is noble hop bittering. Not bad.

On tap and available in growlers at the brewpub, obviously. Like most things served here, I am of the opinion that it is served too cold. Pour is opaque and part way between copper and gold with an expected amount of white head. Aroma is bready and mildly sweet but suffers in intensity. Flavor is unsurprisingly wheat with a significant malt backing and a light sourness. Despite being advertised as something of a session beer ("Heater Beater" leads me to think this is supposed to be the type of beer you drink ice cold on your porch on a hot day) it has a thicker than average body. Recommended for fans of their Amber.
