COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Some of us are tormented, twisted, haunted, have habits, or whatever else that keeps us from sleeping. But, if you are going to be up all night - this 7.6% ABV Belgian Brown aged on coffee, vanilla beans, and caramel will help you enjoy it. Maybe with time, it will be alright.

Growler shared with multiple others at the March brew club. Pours a thin light beige head, over a clear, brown (SRM 25) body....nose is coffee, chocolate, toffee/caramel....taste is heavy coffee, light chocolate, cocoa, toffee/caramel, slight vanilla....mouth feel light, carbonation high. The malts are over balanced to the roasted coffee end of aromas and flavors, which leads to a less multidimensional beer than anticipated. BJCP 6/3/11/4/7

Deep dark ruby amber. Smells like a dream; Heavy cocoa and cappuccino notes, making it smell like the inside of a coffee shop. Tastes like roasted coffee, brown malt, vanilla, and milk. Very intriguing. A bit two-dimensional, but spot on!

On tap at Wynkoop UTB Fest poured a clear redish brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of coffee, carmel, vanilla and light cocoa. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, vanilla,. coffee and light cocoa with a smooth lingering coffee finish.

Tap at Freshcraft - nothing all that Belgian here - creamy, sweet and medium bodied ale - a lot of vanilla, roasted nuts and a kind of malted milk sweetness - a bit of cocoa - some Belgian yeast character kicks in at the end in the form of mild peppery flavors - Black Fox beers tend tomb hit or miss - this is a miss, albeit still a fairly drinkable one.

On tap @ FreshCraft. Dark brown/black appearance with light tan head. Milky, cocoa, espresso, dark Belgian malty nose. Velvetly mouth feel. Quite sweet milky, cocoa, slight coffee flavor on a dark malty flavor. Sweet cocoa finish. It’s a tasty cocoa beer and very easy drinking but not very complex.
