Bottle, 10C. Slightly hazy gold with a fluffy white head that collapses to an inch. Aroma is lightly bready with hay, apricots, flowers and white pepper. Soft mouthfeel with fairly high carbonation. Delicate sweetness with hay and stone fruit, dry finish with slight bitterness that creeps up a little and a crackle of pepper. First foreign Kölsch I’ve had that comes anywhere near it - maybe just because it’s pretty fresh, but still a pleasant surprise.
