Tried it at the Chesterfield beer festival. Forgot the other hundred beers and spent the night drinking this one. Is it possible to find a recipe for this since I brew my own beer.

Cask gravity at Nottingham BF 2007. Gold with thin white head. Incredibly smooth. Doesn’t taste of 6%. Some nice citrusy fruits, some hop sting on end. Like Summer Lightning used to be. Good condition fruits are like pink grapefruit, very fleshy. Excellent.

Cask at Smithfest, Smithfield pub, Derby, 08-09-07 Poured a mid gold colour, with some floral notes on the aroma. Tasted honey sweet, but with floral flavour occasionally poking through, finishes bitter but sweetness is always present and sweeps over each mouthful. Whilst described as a wheat in the programme it didn’t instantly feel like one, but a good beer nonetheless.

Cask - White Cliffs Festival 2010, Dover. A clear, golden yellow beer with a fine, disappearing white head. A touch of sulphur on the nose with bittersweet, earthy hops. A hint of the wheat on the tongue with good citrus notes and a honey sweetness. Crisp and medium in body with a mild dryness.

DruncanVeasey (6950) - NUNEATON, Top 24, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - SEP 3, 2010
Cask handpull, Spoons, Market Harborough. Creamy white resolving into straw; fine lace rim and specks. Heady orange flesh and marmalade aroma. Background, incidental alcohol swamped with ripe orange, honey and vanilla; lingering corn and cashew afters. Fresh, bittersweet and treacherous stuff made savoury by that fleshy orange hop. Could do a few pints of this.

Cask at Weatherspoons Birmingham. Pours hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aromas of bready malt, hay, grass and soap. Taste is good, more bread notes, and very dry finish. Too much soapy goldings by the end though. Should’ve just got a half.
