Cask - Standing Order (JDW), Derby. Poured with a lasting, medium sized creamy beige head leaving a uniform lacing atop a clear ruby brown body. Sweet fruit, caramel notes & roasted malt aromas. Remains malt-forward on the tongue. Quite roasty and mildly fruity with a fairly decent finishing bitterness. Medium body & length finish, soft to medium palate texture. A solid, easily quaffable bitter.

Malty, fruity taste with red berries, dried fruit, toffee and a mild, spicy bitterness. Medium body, with some sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, but hardly exciting.
