Cask at the Craven Arms, Birmingham. Poured a clear amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is weak malty, leading to a refreshing medium bitter flavour, with lots of malt and some smooth citrus fruit on the palate. A tasty English session beer.

Cask conditioned handpump Old Bank Northampton 20/02/13. A golden beer with a white head and lace. A citrussy and soapy beer. A bit of parma violet sweetness in the mouth with nice hopping. A bit of lemon marmalade. Quite nice but a touch disjointed.
