Gravity, 3rd Hinckley BF. Copper, coarse-bubbled diminishing white collar. Roasted nut aroma underpinned with orange, and some alcohol. Bright and orange soapy with sneaking chocolate, chestnut, roast and praline notes. Top bitter; great balance of bitterness, both malt and hop-derived. I’ve not had a less than good beer from BH, and this isn’t one either.

Cask, Crescent, Salford. Dark amber colour with a thin white head. Medium lace. Fragrant yet dusty aroma . Flavour was on the sweet side and had christmas cake, malt and some fruitiness. Some kind of weird chemical like tang in there which I couldn’t place. Interesting and downable.
