Nothing that is felt about Harry can be put into words. We simply offer you our Imperial Red in remembrance of Harry and all that he was and meant to us. Either you understand that or you don’t – either way “belly up to the bar” and have one in memory of Harold and whoever your Harold might be. P.S. For those of you looking for the interminable beer description, Harry would have said “What part of Imperial Red don’t you understand?”

Skyview (5150) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - SEP 7, 2013
Sampled at the GTMW 2013 in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden dark amber colored brew with a thick beige head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some excellent lacing. Aroma of dark pitted fruits, a hint of blackstrap molasses, light sweet berries and white pepper. Taste is full bodied, soft carbonation with flavors of extra caramel malt, a hint of red licorice, vanilla, and some alcohol essence. Finish is semi-sweet, with aftertastes of dark pitted fruits, caramel malt and some alcohol.

Deep red color. Rich malty and earthy aroma and taste maybe could use a bit more hop presence. Long finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber. Poured warm clear, nectarine with a well-retained khaki head. The aroma picked up a lot of warm, sweet fruits, berries, and molasses.. some peppery accents, but mostly sweet, toasted maltage. The flavor found sweet, redder fruits, berries, molasses, and licorice at the core.. tangy berry seeds and peppery alcohol around.. some vanilla as well.. still sweet, but with a sharp kick on the long finish. Medium-bodied with high-ish carbonation on the middle.. just an OK feel and flow.. in the end it became cloying and too berry-y.
