COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Much like Harvey, this beer has more to it than meets the eye. Brewed with local Pembine honey that is added during fermentation so the natural honey flavors and aroma are not boiled off but retained.

Hazy amber with a medium top, quickly dissipating, not much lace. Aroma of grains and honey, mild fruit and yeast. Taste of honey and wheat, light alcohol and yeast. Not overly sweet and a slightly above average wheat beer.

Bottled. Poured near-clear medium golden with a sticky, well-retained white head. The aroma picked up sweet honey, redder fruits, and berries with lemon zest and wheaty accents.. balance was solid. The flavor found honey and berries at the core, with dry, earthy wheat and touches of lemon around.. a touch vegetal on the tacky finish.. just OK. Lighter-bodied with high carbonation on the palate.. scratchy feel on the back-end.. this was entirely serviceable, but I don’t need another.

Sampled on draught at the 2010 Great Northern Beer Festival in Eagle River, Wisconsin. Pours a hazy and unfiltered, golden colored brew with some malt sustaining particles and a thick white head that slowly dissipates. Minimal lacing. Aroma is fruity, multi-golden grain malt, a hint of cotton candy and then some sweet honey. Flavor is quite sweet, nearly full bodied with an almost brackett profile with other flavors of orange juice, apple and more honey. Finish is quite sweet with honey, apple and golden grain malt aftertaste. One of the sweetest honey ales I’ve encountered.
