This cream ale had the taste of a pale lager. There was lots of corn and straw flavors without that metallic crap you get in Bud Light & shyt. As it warmed up there seems to be a stale hop flavor that builds up. All in all a pretty solid light-drinker, but not too "creamy" in a sense.

On tap at Indigo’s. Nose is light citrus/stale hops with some corn. Taste is similar with cereal/bran notes and some light citrus and toasted corn chips. Mehh...not bad if paired with some tacos.

Cream ale? There was nothing remotely creamy about this ale. Looks and tastes more like a light, refreshing summer ale. Guess I should’ve saved it another month or two.

This is almost completely forgettable. It makes absolutely no attempt to be anything other than a run of the mill ale. Definitely not the best Magic Hat can do.

On draft at the brewery tasting room. Golden color with a nice white head. Crisp and clean with a nice light hop presence, crushable.

I hated this beer. I’d rather drink a flavorless Coors Light than this nasty brew. The aroma was unappealing and made me not want to drink it, but I pushed onward and it actually got worse. The flavor is so lifeless and unpleasant that I will never touch this beer again and Magic Hat took a step down in my eyes by marketing it.

Pours golden with a thin white head. Notes of bready malt, lightly herbal hops. Thin to medium bodied with light carbonation.

Magic Hat Brewery: Pours a pale gold with a white head. Aroma is almost of nothing, but there is a whiff of a hop here and there, along with a nice malty backbone. Taste is pretty good, but as could be imagined, nothing complex. Grassy kind of hops and a thin malt backbone. This would make for a good summer beer. Unfortunately, I had it in winter, although today was hella warm. Oh well.

Had on tap. Pretty boring ale. Tastes more like a domestic lager. Not much smell, and no unique taste. Not a fan.
