We are pretty sure this is a world first This is a 100% organic Scottish beer aged in 100% organic Scottish whisky casks. The base beer was our new 7.4% Black Stout and the whisky casks were provided very kindly by the excellent and innovative Bruichladdich distillery on Islay This is a one off beer, made in a very small batch, and all bottles are individually numbered. This beer will age extremely well, so don’t worry if you forget about it for a while.

Bottle as birthday present from Anthony and emma I think. #194 of 484. Pours dark dark brown, good tan creamy head. Vanilla and chocolate nose with underlying light whisky malt notes. Malty chocolate taste with some light bitterness and acidic city. Slightly fizzy, medium body. Really lovely balance. Great stuff. (Was this a Stronge creation?)
