A good summer session ale, with a nice light, cloudy colour and sediment floating in the bottom.

[cask at Caley Sample Room, Edinburgh] Created for Black Isle festival and served as part of pairing dinner at Caley Sample Room. Golden bronze colour with decent white head. Hoppy citrus aromas, good grapefruit bite at first, with a more mellow fruit finish. Aftertaste was dry and bitter – excellent session IPA [06062011]

Special cask ale for the black isle shindig 2011. Pours a light orange colour with a thin white head.Hoppy aroma and nice bitter/ floral flavours. Hop flavours are well balanced with the yeast character. I happily drank a few pints of this over the weekend. Lovely.
