wcampbell (420), Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 12, 2007 My favorite of the black isle beers. Sampled and purchased at the brewery. Unfiltered and yeasty with the brewery’s typical light acidity. Sweet and fruity.
sk8viking (6077), Copenhagen, Denmark Nov 21, 2007 Bottle. A hazy golden amber beer with a big white head. Yeast and fruity aroma and taste. Medium body with a dry fruity finish. fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Nov 21, 2007 Cloudy orange-amber color. As promised, the aroma is very Belgian. Medium body, some malt flavor, good bitterness level, big yeast footprint, a bit fruity and astringent; not bad, but a bit too much homebrew style. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 19, 2007 (Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Hazy, amber golden with an off-white head. Lightly citrusy aroma with some yeast.
