3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A orange beer with a medium, but quickly decreasing, white head. Aroma is surprise, tropical fruits, peaches, hint of papaiyas, some sweetness and some pine needles. Taste is fruitfull, peaches, biscuity maltas, unfortunately slightly musty aftertaste. A medium bodied, nicely to drink. Nice, tropical fruity aroma, some mistakes in the taste. Easy to enjoy, enough of aromatic nuancees.

Pours a copper colour with a white head. Loads of visible bubbles. Aroma of biscuity malts and floral hops. Flavour of biscuity malts, floral hops, dried fruits, citrus and some caramel. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a bitter, slightly fruity finish. Refreshing.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 05/2013
Aroma is sweetish with caramel, some biscuits and fruity hops. Also hints of vanilla. Flavour is sweetish with vanilla, caramel, biscuits, fruity hops. Nice, although a bit too sweet. A hybrid of English Pale Ale and Golden Ale – I wonder why this is ’Traditional’?

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
33 cl bottle. BBE 05/2013.
Pours clear copper color with a huge foamy head. Aroma of british hops, fruits, caramel, biscuits and nuts. Flavor of mild malts, biscuits, nutty notes, dry hay, mild lemon notes and some nettle and goose berry hints. Very dry and mildly bitter palate. The hops don’t quite work for me.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Light hop aroma on the nose which is faintly floral with a hint of a belgium yeast. Nice malty body with a metallic and citrus start which fades quickly to a delicate hop bitterness which remains with the fairly oily mouthfeel. Easy drinking and nicely balanced, if a little lacking character.

Medium offwhite head. Clear amber body with light carbonation.
Deep caramelly malty aroma with strawy earthy funky notes, with
traces of peas. Dry-sweet earthy caramelly taste with pea notes.
Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry earthy peas aftertaste with
strawy smoky caramelly notes. Nice, but a bit bland in the
taste. (0.33l bottle, Systembolaget, Nordstan, Göteborg.)

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Crunchy nut cornflake nose, steeped caramel body with a lasting slight white head. Clean hoppy slalom on the palate with a hungry finish. The big difference from the organic larger is a spicey slight nutmeg tickle. A very moreish beer on all counts. (Keg, Nobles, Edinburgh)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at Nobles. Golden amber. Light hops, light malt. It’s triumph is its lack of character.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
330 ml bottle. From Malmö, Sweden.
Clear amber colour with small white head.
Caramel malt sweetness, floral and fruity hops, rosebuds and mild bitterness in aroma. Bitterish floral hops and malt in flavour. OK Pale Ale. Aftertaste is more malty than hoppy even though there’s hoppiness in flavour. And it’s organic. Good.
