COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A true pale ale. The full body and rich gold colour comes from a blend of wheat, pale ale and crystal malts. It’s floral and lime citrus nose is created by the extensive use of carefully selected New World aroma hops. The final stage of dry hopping then produces a rich berry flavour for a big refreshing, satisfying brew.

330 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget and consumed on January 21. Pours amber with a small off-white head that leaves some trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is subtle, slightly sweet and fruity with grapefruit, lemon zest and mango. Taste is slightly sweet and refreshing with citrus fruits, some tropical fruits, caramel and bread. Finish is lightly sweet and slightly bitter with hints of grass and pine.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm, 14 Jan 2012) Golden amber colour with brief, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of citrus, apricots and floral hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with apricots, citrus, tropical fruit and a generous bitterness in a finish with floral hops. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Tasty, refreshing and quite nice.

Bärnstensfärgad öl som doftar mycket av karamell och bröd. Rent ljuvlig smak, som varar länge, av knäck, russin, aningen lakrits och med en högst trevlig beska. Nästan fantastisk faktiskt.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy deep golden body with a small white head. Aroma is peachy tones of hops and pine, with hints of syrup and apricot. Wonderfully fruity aroma which heightens my anticipations for the first sip. And I am not disappointed! Mellow grassy hop tones with oranges, loads of peaches and fruit-syrupy sweetness balanced finely throughout the smooth palate and the layers of hop. Hints of flowers. A very, very nice Scottish surprise; this is a hidden gem IMO.

Golden blonde with floral, caramel and lemon notes in the aroma. Quite pithy but also sweet with an unplacable but not unpleasant vegetal note near the finish, which is also quite sherbety.

Bottle 33o ml from Le Tonneau Verre - Yverdon (CH). Beer coulour of fire, cream and fleeting foam. Very aromatic malt and hops. The taste is bittersweet, at first toffy then dominant of hops. Tasted cool. Not very complex but notes of toffy, citrus and grass. Milder as it warms, refreshing.

Bottle from Systembolaget Sweden. short beige head. Light clowdy amber color. Small piny aroma with hard roasted cara malt. The caramell is present in the taste with a clean bitterness. Not much sweetness and a finebody for a pale ale.
