Reminds of Hefeweizen, which I like much. Interesting blend of flavors, cannot put my finger on it but as I said weizen and that’s why the good ratings.

Pours black with a thin head. Aroma sweet caramel/heay, oatmeal. A strange product. Not Bad.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2011 On cask at Cloisters. Jet black beer with a thick, tight head. Sweet, malty and spicy nose. Lovely caramel, spicy hops and heather flavours and a smooth, silky mouthfeel.

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2011 totally black! malty floral nose w/ chocolate and porridge in the background wow! really rich choc. flavour. thin/med body and a little fizzy very sweet. rich, syrupy taste with coffee in middle and malty finish really good. no big or aggressive flavours and alcohol isn’t noticeable at all.

Pours black colour with light head. Aroma of liquorice, roasted malts, chocolate and light coffee. Flavour of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and liquorice. Balanced brew.

Bottle. Pours black with a tinge of red with a beige head thaty doesn’t linger long. Caramel and malt on the nose. Sweet, creamy caramel taste with a dry finish. Nice smooth mouthfeel.

Pours slightly cloudy. Aroma is fresh with lemons and grassy hops. Taste is similar, though maybe a bit thin.

330ml, direct from Black Isle brewery shop. Pours black, thin lacing. fresh, grassy, slight citrus note in the background. Bready taste, hay,

[Cask conditioned] A pleasant and very well hopped wheat beer. Fresh and hoppy aroma and flavour.

UPDATED: FEB 12, 2006 Cool colour, it has orange and coreander but it did not make much difference, the colour is like a Hefeweizen, a little more orange.
