Cask at Cloisters. Deep black, red highlights, thick creamy head. Subdued roasty nose, coffee, cocoa, slight hint of vanilla. Big vanilla front, surprisingly sweet. Reminds me of a milk stout. Slight roasty coffee linger. But wow, lots of vanilla. Nice.

Cask at The Stockbridge Tap Beer Festival, 2011. Pours a black colour with a fair beige head. Aroma of vanilla, Weetabix and roasty malt. Lots of Weetabix flavour with some roasted barley. Mild carbonation, light CO2 prickle and a foamy mouth-feel. A long Weetabix and burnt toast linger. A little dry and thin but OK.
