500 ml bottle. BBE 03/2013.
Pours a golden colour with a white head. Aroma of pale malts, biscuits, hay and grass. Flavour of strong malts, biscuits, citrus, grassy hops and hay. Some sweet honey and citrus notes as well. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and a light, bitter and malty finish with some pleasant citrusy notes. Really good for a pale lager, clearly the best I’ve had so far from this style.

Medium-light floral, lemon, from hops. Medium-dry finish with light lingering hops, lemon. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-low carbonation, creamy. Crisp. Overall: Crisp, refreshing. Easy drinking beer that definitely asks for more. 500 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Andre!

Sweet and sour with just a trace of that honey coming through. Golden with a short lasting head. Built like the Rana Plaza factory. Needs character.

23.10.2014. Clear golden. Aroma is a bit different, grain, malts and butter of lager but also some saison style yeast and citrus. Taste is also similar but a bit milder. Although different it still feels somehow unbalanced and strange. However, considering the abv its quite good.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Light golden colour. Not much aroma. Slightly sparkling, and slightly bitter.

Keg at the Grain Store, Cambridge. Pours basic yellow with a respectable but not overblown white head. Citrus and vinegar funk in the aroma. Taste is much meter: sweet and clean with a minimal stroke of bitter citrus on the finish. Nicely carbonated palette. Ok.

Mild aroma of grass and hops with some sour notes.Pours golden with a persistent rocky white head. Light lacing. Tastes of grass and a sour lacquer taste. Nice fizzy carbonation and long sour finish. Well made, reminiscent of classic mass-produced German lagers, not my favorite

Bottle. Booths, Ilkley. Hazy, straw colour. About three bubbles doing their best to form a head. Light lemon. Bit of pineapple. Grainy malt. Taste is much the same. Dull, flat palate. Finishes dull and flat. Brewing beer using organic ingredients is very admirable, but when it turns out like this, I don’t want to drink it.

Bottle from Booth’s in Ripon. Pours blonde with a frothy white head. A little sweetness and citrus. Not bad for a lager style beer.
