Bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours opaque dark red wit a light brown head. Nose has sweet caramel and malt, some roastinesst and some alcohol, a bit earthy. Taste is sweet and toasted malts, honey, toffee and raisin and a sweet port. Thin body but a bit sticky in the mouth afterwards. Nice finish.

Buonissima! Aroma di prugne secche e caramello. Al palato attacca subito con un pò di dolce vellutato sulla punta della lingua per poi evolversi in una piacevole luppolatura accompagnata da un sapore fruttato e di caramello. La riberrei all’istante.

Fruity aroma with caramel and mild hops. Flavour is surprisingly complex, coffee and chocolate elements with a berry fruit notes which never gets overly sweet thankfully. Tasty and a good example of the breed!

Bottle @ FOneFan. Clear dark amber/brown with small beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, fruit and nutty. Flavour is malt, caramel, butter, nutty, fruit, medium sweet, grass, hops and a little bitter.

Bottle @ Mid March Tasting, Ulfborg 2012. Pours ruby amber with a small off white head. Chocolate, ash, christmas cookies and vanilla. Sweet. Medium bodied.

Ulfborg Scooper Smagning 2012. Brown with a small off-white head. Caramel aroma with a touch of dried fruit. Sweet fruity and malty flavour with a yeasty touch and a hint of roasted malt in the finish

Bottle. Cola brown/black with red reflexes color, cola tan head. The aroma is very complex: leather, cola, malt, caramel, licorice, brown sugar. The taste is similar with plumbs, cinnamon in addition and the cola notes even stronger. a little bit boozy. Medium body, medium but strong finish. Not easy to drink. I didn’t like at all, not my cup of tea. Ratebeer made me give this score.

Bottle. Not often I comment on the label of a bottle, but I really like this one. Clean and classy. Pours a dark ruby with light tan head. Really rich and interesting nose - fruits, caramel, cakes and breads. Taste follows up with that and is like a rich doughy mixture of plums, raisins, sweet breads. The sweetness overtakes the bitterness mostly - but it’s a nice malty sweetness. This is really tasty.

Bottle. Dark brown with thin beige head. Sweet malt and caramel aroma. Fruity, sweet malt and chocolate flavour that is balanced with some hoppy bitterness in the finish.
