COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, Pasteurised.
An amber colored ale, Black Isle Red Kite is brewed using only the highest quality Maris Otter pale and crystal malts for flavor and body. Challenger hops for bittering with the late addition of Styrian Goldings creates a balance of quenching citrus and malt, and a classic aromatic finish to this refreshing ale. This beer is bright amber with a toasted nut flavor and powerful orange fruit aroma.

@ Basunen 16-4-30: En mycket maltig och kanske något söt red ale som funkar bra till kryddat mat. Ingen stor sensation men fin och trevlig balans.

Flaska. Oklar brun-orange öl med ett givmilt smutsvitt skum. Dofter och smaker av smörkola, frukt och nöt. Medelbeska. Mjuk munkänsla.

UPDATED: MAR 30, 2016 Amber ale with a creamy head, not really white. Ruby colour and pine aroma. Hops flavour primary both in aroma and taste. Crystal malt secondary but useful for red colour. Bitterness dominates the taste. It could be an APA if special malts wouldn t have sweetened the bitterness. Well balanced body and carbonation but the flavour is towards the hops. It?s a kite flying over a wood of pine trees.

ManVsBeer (7656) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 3, 2016
Bottle from Booths, Media City. Deep amber-red with a thin head. First came across this at Black Isles old brewery premises in my pre-Ratebeer days. It’s still a top notch pale ale! Hopped with a slightly dry texture and taste, but maintains a crisp and appealing fruitiness, it slips down the palate well with a smoothness and is clean tasting. The water is superb in this ale.
