Commercial Description:
Bottled, Pasteurised.
An amber colored ale, Black Isle Red Kite is brewed using only the highest quality Maris Otter pale and crystal malts for flavor and body. Challenger hops for bittering with the late addition of Styrian Goldings creates a balance of quenching citrus and malt, and a classic aromatic finish to this refreshing ale. This beer is bright amber with a toasted nut flavor and powerful orange fruit aroma.

Bottled. A reddy amber coloured beer with a large whitish head. The aroma is malty and has fruit, nuts and toffee. Very very fruity taste. Thick and chewy in the mouth. Butterscotch without the diacetyl. Too cloying really.

Bottled. A murky orange-brown beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and yeast. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, leading to a slightly bitter finish. The body is thin.

A Mes rate: Bottle at The 78. Murky brown with a white head. Heather and malt aroma with some tea underneath. Fruity and undistinguished flavour with thankfully a nice balanced finish.
