Cloudy and unfiltered. The yeasty flavor does not go well with the scotch ale. Slightly acidic taste. Caramel and smokey malt flavor that was a little weak.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a diminished white head. Spiced hoppy and mild roasted malty aroma. Sweet malty with a floral to fruity hops flavour with a distinct bitterness. Dry and light roasted malty finish. Light floral hoppy finish.

A 500ml bottle purchased directly from the brewery. This poured an amber-copper colour with a thick off white head that showed good retention. Nose is dominated by sweet malts, spices, honey and a very floral scent. This theme continued through to the taste with a medium body. Simply too floral for my liking; I didn’t even finish the bottle.

Scotland, 250708. Bottled. Copper with beige head. Aroma of red berries and caramel. Flavor of malt, fruit and a balanced dryness from the roasts.

Bottle. Hazy copper with a stable head. Berries, toffee and earthy aromas. Nice fruit, berries and orange flavours, blending with moderate toffee and discrete hops, that still manage to balance the flavours. Very likeable.
