A golden, straw coloured bitter, brewed with Cascade hops adding a flinty, grapefruit aroma that is deliciously refreshing.

Blond-golden color. The aroma is grassy, with hay and manure, some cereals too. Dry mouthfeel, with some grassy malt, and strong bitterness; the hopping is a bit lemony. Good.

12.07.2011. 0,5l bottle. Labelled Organic Yellowhammer Summer Ale. Systembolaget Charlottenberg. Golden amber colour with white head. Strong smell of aromatic bitter hops. Spicy aroma with notes of pine and spruce. Medium body with moderate malty aroma. Best thing about this beer is the very good hops and the lasting bitter aftertaste.

500 ml bottle. Labelled Organic Yellowhammer Summer Ale. Sparkling amber colour. Medium-sized white fine-laced head that clings to the glass. Nice earthy hops with a peachy fruity aroma. Nice papery hop flavours and light slightly sweet malts. Gentle bitterness. Very harmonic beer. A thirst quencher, and a flavourful one too.

Bottle. Amber with a white head leaving quite a lot of lacing. Aroma: fruity and fresh, nuts, spruce-ish detergent, grönsåpa. Taste: grapefruit, berries, nuts, toffee, a bit thin, medium bitterness. Light-bodied with quite a high carbonation. Not bad really, it’s only 4% after all.

Bottle. Clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma of citrus, biscuity malt, some butter. Light bodied with flavors of citrus, grass and faint tropical fruits. Maybe a bit watery, but still a nice uncomplicated session ale.

[500ml bottle, Caley Sample Room, Edinburgh] Served as part of pairing dinner at Caley Sample Room. Thin-looking golden pour with a bubbly white head. Some hop on the nose, along with a touch of bitter malt. On the palate, the grassy hops were prevalent, but the beer finished slightly thin as the malts gave way to nothing. Decent bitter, however, the hop profile saves it [06062011]

Pours out in a clear golden colour with a low thick white head. Pale malts lemony and spicy hops in the aroma. Medium to light-bodied with notes of straw, lemon-zest grass and mild flowers with undertones of pale and biscuity malts. Crisp medium-bitter if a bit short finish of flowers, citric fruits and grass.
