Toffee, grains, fruits and citrus in the aroma. Golden with a off white head. Medium sweet and medium to heavy bitter. Light to medium body with a average carbonation. Bitter finish. Overall a really nice one. Beautiful fruity aroma and a quite bitter flavour, but still nicely balanced.

White half finger head, bubbles in centre, some bubbly lacings. Deep golden body. Scents: Resin, yellow apple, sweet fruity malts. Taste: Hops, spruce, transfers to sweet malts, fruity stuff, not much dark fruits in this year’s version however. Mild n fresh to palate. End: Fruits, slightly dry, caramel malts, some mild fruity spices, some bitter. Overall tasty n mild. (Enjoyed a 500 ml brown bottle b@Kjeller 5 Tromsø before a PolishRateMeet)

Tap at Craft Man. Bright, brilliant gold with a medium, fine head. Malty, lemony nose, slightly Belgian yeastiness, honey, orange, lightly spicy. Sweet, thin, oily. Lemon and spicy yeast. A bit thin and weak, somewhat watery and metallic. OK.

Bu en bouteille de 50cl, une jolie couleur avec bien de la mousse. Une bière avec peu de nez sinon le houblon. En bouche elle est très citronnée une belle tuerie bien en longueur

Pours golden and clear. Citrus fruits on the nose, ever so slightly sweet on first tasting but then a little spicy-ness comes into it,a light golden ale with a slight IPA twist to it.

Bottle shared on the train from Inverness to Wick, from Tomlinsons, 20/10/13. Clear light golden with a thin white covering. Nose is citrus lead, light mineral tang, lemon zest, bitter orange, hoppy notes. Taste comprises citric zing, orange pith, toasted malts. Medium bodied, light spritz carbonation wise, dry grassy bitterness in the finish. A very decent Golden Blonde, let down by the slightl overcooked carbonation.

Bottle: Deep golden, a bit unclear, lively carbonation, stable and lacy creamy white head, moderate aroma of exotic fruits with piney traces underneath, in the background malt, bread and fruits; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and very soft; smooth and lingering bitter-sweet fruity and malty finish. A goody…

500ml bottle from Tesco (£1.89):
Hoppy with some grapefruit and fresh, cut grass to go along with a little orange and some citrus notes. Lively and refreshing on the nose that I was expecting with some floral notes, a touch of sweetness and some biscuit too.
Clear amber with a large, thumb-sized head that is quite foamy looking and holds great.
Hoppy with the same grapefruit and bitterness from the nose along with some citrus and floral flavours. Bread & biscuit with a malty bitterness follow. English in style, bitter and with fruity undertones.
Medium bodied with a great balance between flavours and moderate carbonation. There is some sweetness initially with a semi-bitter taste.

A surprisingly hop filled and bitter taste to begin with and was followed up by a nice mix of background fruits and malts. A great beer and one I’ll pick up again no doubt.
